Julia M. Healy, Esq.
Attorney Julia M. Healy, formerly known as Julia M. Schwartz, is a managing partner and co-founder of Healy Law Offices. Attorney Healy has almost 20 years of legal experience in both the private and public sectors. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Emory University School of Law in 1992, where she was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Research, Writing and Advocacy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College of Columbia University, where she graduated on the Dean's List. She is a member of the Norfolk County Bar Association.
Attorney Healy's legal practice focuses primarily on the areas of Real Estate Law (including buyer, seller and lender representation), Landlord/Tenant Law, Condominium Law, Family Law and Criminal Law. Before founding Healy Law Offices, Attorney Healy was an associate at Cohen and Fierman, LLP in Boston. Prior to that, she was an Assistant District Attorney for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, where she was the Supervising Assistant District Attorney in the Brighton Division of the Boston Municipal Court and the Domestic Violence Point Prosecutor in the Dorchester Division of the Boston Municipal Court. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Regional Counsel for the Department of Children and Families in both their trial and appellate divisions. She has also served as a law clerk for the Atlanta Municipal Court in Atlanta, Georgia and has worked for the Office of the United State's Attorney in Boston.
Attorney Healy is dedicated to serving her community. She is an active member of the Town of Dedham's By-Law Review Commission and is a Commissioner on the Town of Dedham's Conservation Commission. She has also coached Dedham Youth Sports.
